In NYC
1 September 2008 | Photography
Arrived in NYC a couple of weeks ago. Not done much photography – the administration and organisation of emigration is complicated, time-consuming and frustrating. Coupled with this is the fact that summer is actually tangible here, with real heat and sunshine, unlike in London where it is simply a calendar demarcation used by the holiday industry to inflate fares. The weather disregards it entirely and continues it’s perpetual gray, damp drizzle.
So – too busy and too hot for photos. My new phone has a camera, however, so here are a couple of randoms. The ghostly figures on the bench in the garden were really odd – on the hospitals stretch of 1st Avenue at about 10pm yesterday I saw them and they didn’t move at all… it looked uncomfortable. Maybe the morgue was full…

As for the technical quality – it’s a telephone.
