Orwell Rolls In His Grave

Having been thinking a lot about surveillance culture in relation to a project I’m currently working on, along with the decline of journalism and the sorry state of politics in general, I found this documentary, which is a couple of years old but I hadn’t seen it before:

All this having been articulated very clearly 60 years ago, in 1984 but maybe that book serves as much as a guide for those in control as it does a warning for the other 99%.
